All these 'Enablers' have been created with an overarching vision and i keep telling my team, if you remember the vision behind each endeavour, you will take any decision with ease and without discussions with anyone.

The International Patients' Union is the only initiative that is not a neutral platform. When we started the International Patients' Union, we were clear that we have been created to bring the patient's voice to the forefront, ensuring that decision-makers—whether in government or healthcare providers—are forced to listen to patients & populations - who are the ultimate payers and users of #healthcare #services & #products in private or public healthcare. We have succeeded in bringing the voice of patients mainstream and making them interface with the decision-makers in the Government and the provider space, so that we can help 'patients' find solution to their problems and also, move the healthcare from a 'supplier driven model' to a 'need-based care delivery' - we believe this is a level above 'Value-based Care' model - one that is truly centered around the patient.

We have started the world's first International Patients' Union Fellowship, this fellowship is for those who wish to remain grounded while they remain at the top or wish to reach the top. For all that we invested over the years, here's what we have achieved & that's incredible!

We have sought feedback from some of our attendees, and this is what they said. I think that we are thankful to all those in the Government and the industry and the Patients who come forward every year to demonstrate their understanding, passion for change and speak their mind at this conference. This conference is to showcase unfiltered view of the patients before top policy-makers.

Last year, we announced the World's first Patient Centricity Index, and there will be more news on this in the weeks ahead. For us, Patient Centricity is not a word, it is an objective assessment driven by KPIs that deliver better outcomes creating value for the money we invest in healthcare. We are going to redefine the quality indicators of healthcare.

What ever money we make through our other initiatives, gets ploughed back to International Patients' Union. Our core commitment remains to patients and populations, the ultimate payers and users of healthcare, whether private or public. Their voices must shape the future of healthcare, and through our work, we are ensuring they do.
